Website & Privacy Terms
Effective October 21, 2026
This is Ian Corzine's personal website. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Part 1. Website terms
This is not legal advice
Everything here, including the videos and posts, is general information about the law. It is not legal advice about your situation. The law changes, and every case turns on its own facts. Before you act on anything you see here, talk to a lawyer licensed where you live about your facts.
No attorney-client relationship
Using this site, watching a video, reading a post, or sending me an email does not make me your lawyer. I become someone's lawyer only after we both sign a written agreement and I have checked for conflicts. Until then, do not send me anything confidential or time-sensitive. I will have no duty to keep it confidential, and I may not be able to act on it.
Where I practice
I am licensed to practice law in California. I do not give legal advice about the law of any other state.
My views are my own
What I say here is my personal opinion. It is not the view of any law firm I work with or any client I represent, now or in the past.
Links to other sites
This site shows and links to my content on YouTube and X. Those sites have their own terms and privacy rules, and I do not control them. When you go there, their rules apply.
Using the content
I own the text, design, video, and sound on this site, or I have permission to use them. You may view and share links to this site for your own personal, noncommercial use. Do not copy, republish, or sell the content without my written permission.
No promises
I work to keep this site accurate and running, but I provide it "as is." I do not promise that it is complete, current, error-free, or always available. To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not responsible for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on what it says.
Which law applies
California law governs these terms.
Part 2. Privacy notice
The short version
This site has no accounts, no sign-up forms, no ad trackers, and no analytics. It does not set cookies. I do not sell or share your personal information.
What happens when you visit
- Hosting. The site runs on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives standard technical details from your browser when you load a page: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, and the time. It uses them to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- YouTube pictures. The video thumbnails load from YouTube's image servers. That means YouTube (owned by Google) receives your IP address and browser details when the page loads.
- YouTube player. The video player does not load until you tap play. It uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Once you play a video, YouTube's own privacy policy applies, and YouTube may store information on your device.
- X posts. My server pulls my posts from X. Your browser does not contact X unless you tap a post.
- Sound. The cabin sound plays from this site only if you turn it on. It collects nothing.
If you email me
I receive your email address and whatever you choose to send. I use it only to read and answer your message. I do not add you to a mailing list or give your email to anyone else unless the law requires it.
Do Not Track
This site does not track you over time or across other websites, so it treats every visitor the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. Other than YouTube as described above, no third party collects information about you through this site.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
You can ask me what personal information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. In practice, the only personal information I would have is an email you sent me. Write to me at hello@iancorzine.com.
Changes
If I change these terms, I will post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
